FOX 5 San Diego (KSWB-TV) is the local FOX network TV station serving San Diego television viewers  with news, entertainment, sports and more.

Broadcasting locally in high definition on digital TV channel 69.1 and cable channels 705 and 5, the station is known by the call letters KSWB. Their signal began broadcasting in San Diego on September 30, 1985. The station started broadcasting as FOX 5 San Diego on August 1, 2008.

Owned by the NBC Owned Television Stations subsidiary of NBCUniversal (itself a subsidiary of Comcast), it is sister to Poway-licensed Telemundo owned-and-operated station KUAN-LD (channel 48). The two stations share studios on Granite Ridge Drive in the Serra Mesa section of San Diego and transmitter facilities southeast of Spring Valley.

KNSD's on-air branding, NBC 7 San Diego, is derived from its cable channel position in the market on Spectrum, Cox Communications and AT&T U-verse. The station is also available on channel 39 on satellite providers DirecTV and Dish Network.

Despite KUAN-LD legally holding a low-power license, it transmits using KNSD's full-power spectrum. This ensures complete reception across the San Diego television market.
